methotrexate.........forgotten dose?? Options

Hi everyone, hoping you are all doing ok. Well, what the problem is, I usually take my mtx on Friday evening, and last week I forgot and took it on Saturday morning. So, should I take my mtx as usual today or should I wait now until tomorrow??? I've never forgotten it before, so just a bit unsurre. Thanks xHuh

Hi Barbara

Agree with Julie, definitely take today. One day in the whole scheme of things makes not a jot of difference! Likewise if you are not so good on the day its due leave it till the following day when things may be better. Methotrexate stays in your system for ever and a day so a couple of days here or there is nothing.

A couple of weeks ago I had a stomach bug on my mtx day so I left it til the next day.
